Ellen LaNicca, Executive Vice President / Consumer Practice, Consumer Practice

Ellen is a veteran of the public relations industry. With more than 25 years of experience, she has created and supervised programs for a number of Fortune 500 companies with a particular interest in reaching women, including American Express, Avon Products, Charles Schwab & Co., Ernst & Young, Hartz Mountain, Liz Claiborne, Microsoft, Target and World Kitchen (formerly Corning Consumer Products). As executive vice president (and former president and co-founder of Patrice Tanaka & Company, Inc.), Ellen oversees the agency's food & beverage and housewares & home fashions divisions within the Consumer Practice, including the agency's 15-year partnership with All-Clad Metalcrafters and, more recently, Chef Emeril Lagasse. A recent notable success was launching Dyson Limited vacuums in America, helping the brand overcome a commodity marketplace and, in a three-year period, achieving the #1 position as the best-selling vacuum in its price category. Throughout her career, Ellen has managed the agency's work for KRUPS North America, Inc., Pfaltzgraff, Spiegel Catalog, Lunt Silversmiths and Armstrong World Industries. She has extensive experience in the retail area through her work with companies such as Bloomingdales, Macy's, Target Stores and Williams-Sonoma. Her experience in architecture, interior design and home fashion was honed through work for Architectural Digest and Home magazines.
